PDO SUTURE
Product Under Development
Product development is currently in progress. Detailed product information will be updated at a later date.
Polydioxanone (PDO) is a biodegradable synthetic polymer that naturally degrades and is absorbed by the body over time after implantation. With excellent biocompatibility and tissue reactivity, it is widely used not only for surgical sutures but also as aesthetic medical devices for skin tissue lifting.
Our company manufactures PDO products including surgical sutures and lifting threads in KGMP-certified production facilities. Medical-grade PDO resin is selected according to strict quality standards and processed through precision procedures including extrusion molding, cooling, and tensile treatment to produce sutures with consistent diameter and strength.
Surgical Sutures
Surgical sutures are used for temporary tissue support and wound closure in general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, and are degraded and absorbed within approximately 180 days. The tensile strength and degradation rate are designed to be suitable for surgeries requiring long-term tissue support.
Aesthetic Lifting Threads
Lifting thread products are inserted into the soft tissues of the face and body to physically lift sagging skin while inducing collagen production. Various thread types are available including cog, screw, and multi-structures, providing natural lifting effects that last from 6 months to over 1 year after insertion into the skin layer.
Our company operates a quality management system based on ISO 13485 and KGMP throughout the entire manufacturing process, supplying high-quality absorbable suture products through rigorous inspections including raw material sourcing, finished product foreign substance inspection, sterilization validation, and tensile strength testing.
