Privacy Policy

Sejong Biotech Co., Ltd. (the "Company") establishes and discloses the following Privacy Policy in order to protect the personal information of users in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act and other relevant laws, and to promptly and smoothly handle grievances related thereto.

Article 1 (Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information)

The Company processes personal information for the following purposes. Personal information processed will not be used for any purpose other than the following, and if the purpose of use changes, the Company will take necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent in accordance with Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act.

  • Inquiry and consultation processing: Receiving and handling product/service inquiries and notifying results
  • Service provision: Company introduction, product/brand information, and resource provision
  • Marketing and advertising: Information on new products and company news (only with consent)

Article 2 (Items of Personal Information Collected)

The Company collects the following personal information through the inquiry service.

Article 3 (Retention and Use Period of Personal Information)

① The Company processes and retains personal information within the period of retention and use of personal information under applicable law, or within the period agreed upon at the time of collecting personal information from users.

② The retention periods for each category of personal information are as follows:

  • Inquiry processing: Retained for 1 year after inquiry resolution, then destroyed
  • Records related to e-commerce: 5 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce)

Article 4 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)

In principle, the Company does not provide users' personal information to external parties. However, the following exceptions apply:

  • When the user has given prior consent
  • When required by law, or when requested by law enforcement authorities in accordance with procedures and methods prescribed by law for investigative purposes

Article 5 (Outsourcing of Personal Information Processing)

The Company currently does not outsource personal information processing to external parties. If outsourcing arrangements arise in the future, the Company will disclose the scope of the outsourced work and the contractor through this Privacy Policy in accordance with Article 26 of the Personal Information Protection Act.

Article 6 (Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects and How to Exercise Them)

Users, as data subjects, may exercise the following rights:

  • Request to access personal information
  • Request for correction of errors
  • Request for deletion
  • Request for suspension of processing

The above rights may be exercised by contacting the Company's Personal Information Protection Officer in writing, by phone, or by email. The Company will respond promptly to such requests.

Article 7 (Destruction of Personal Information)

When personal information becomes unnecessary due to the expiration of the retention period or achievement of the processing purpose, the Company will promptly destroy such personal information.

  • Electronic files: Permanently deleted using methods that prevent recovery or restoration
  • Paper documents: Shredded or incinerated

The Company designates a Personal Information Protection Officer as follows, who is responsible for overseeing the processing of personal information and handling user complaints and remedies related to personal information processing.

Article 9 (Changes to Privacy Policy)

This Privacy Policy is effective from March 1, 2026. Any additions, deletions, or corrections arising from changes in laws or policies will be announced on the website at least 7 days before the effective date of such changes.
